We are so excited to announce the birth of our new baby girl! Nina Quinn Breckenridge was born at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009. Nina weighed 7 lb 9 oz, and measured 20.5 inches in length -- very similar to the measurements of her big sister!
Big sister Samantha got to meet Nina on Friday morning when she came to the hospital with Grandma. While Sam was understandably a little reserved at first -- mom in a hospital bed, a new baby swaddled up, lots of machines everywhere, and all four of her grandparents plus Aunt Abby in one place! -- she quickly warmed up, and alternated between being curious about Nina and wanting to hold her, to serving as our entertainment as she danced around the room.
As I post this, Nina is now nearly a month old!(It's taken a while to get our act together on the new blog site...). More updates, and photos, to come. For now, though, here are a few pictures of Nina on Days 1 and 2!
