As Sammy's hair gets longer, we've learned that neither of us should ever aspire to be a hair stylist. Our latest attempt to trim the bangs went, oh, not so well. Here's the current hairdo -- I think we'll try the salon next time!

Cousins Weekend

The Breckenridge, Flosi and Savage families held the "1st Annual Cousins Weekend" in mid-January in Portland. It was a great time to get together and focus on fun activities for the kids - Jake (2.5 years), Becca (20 mos) and Samantha (15 mos). We had fun dinners, went swimming at the YMCA, made and decorated a giant cookie, and mostly just had time for the kids to spend time together.

Following are some pictures from the weekend, including Jake's rousing rendition of John Denver's "Leaving on a Jet Plane," lots of fun with the girls in the playhouse (including Becca's unique way of entering the house - note the feet up in the window!), and our revelation that Becca and Sam's hair is identical right now, with lots of curls in the back - just the color is different!
