Seven Months!

Samantha is now 7 months old! This past month had several big "firsts" -- Sam started solid foods for the first time, learned to sit up on her own, and now waves hello (often several minutes after the person walks in the room!). She loves to grab anything and everything and give it a taste test, and she's also learned how to casually toss her toys aside, then look over the edge to see where they've gone. We continue to have lots of fun watching her grow. Here are a couple pictures of Sam at 7 months, sitting up, followed by a picture of how the sitting up episode sometimes comes to a close!

Sunny Days

Although the sunny days have been far too infrequent this spring in Seattle, we've managed to get out and enjoy them when they've come. Having been born in October, we're sure Sam enjoys finally feeling the warmth! Here is Sam enjoying the sun in our front yard on a couple different occasions.
