Santa

Samantha met Santa for the first time last weekend, at Karen's office holiday party. Sam seemed somewhat ambivalent about the experience -- she slept through the entire event!

Two Months!

Samantha is now 2 months old! We are amazed at how alert she is these days, including recognizing our voices, and paying a lot of attention to the Christmas lights on the tree. Also, much to our delight, her smiles are frequent now -- here are a few pictures...

Cousins, Part 2

Samantha finally got to meet her other cousin, Jake Flosi, while in Portland for Thanksgiving. The three -- Jake (age 2 and 1/2), Becca (age 6 months) and Samantha -- had a great time together, and Jake helped entertain the girls with songs and dances as we ate dinner.

As you can see, it was tough to get a photo that wasn't blurry what with all the motion...

We celebrated Thanksgiving in Portland with Karen's family. Sam sported red socks for the occasion.

One Month!

Samantha has now passed the one-month milestone! At her one-month appointment this week, she weighed in at 9 lbs, 1 oz, putting her in the 50th percentile for weight. She's also started to smile, which definitely makes our day. Here are a few pictures of Sam on her one-month birthday.
